CUSTOMIZABLE SPECIFICATIONS FOR F-SERIES IMMERSION HEATERS
1.VOLTAGE
With the capability to supply voltages up to 600V, in single- or three-phase, our flanged heaters can be adapted to the voltage available at your site.
2.FLANGE SIZE AND RATINGS
We offer a wide range of options, including standard ANSI sizes. 2”-10” ANSI flanges are carried in stock. The F Series can be made with 150 LB, 300 LB, or 600 LB ANSI sizes, as well as metric DIN and JIS flange sizes.
3.FLANGE MATERIALS
PreciseHeater’s flanged immersion heaters are available in a diverse range of alloys to accommodate different environments. Carbon Steel, 304 or 316 Stainless Steel, and Titanium flanges are all carried in stock. Exotic alloys, such as Hastelloy® and Inconel®, are also available.
4.ELEMENT SHEATH MATERIAL
Our standard sheath materials encompass a range of options, including Copper, 304 and 316 Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Incoloy®. For specialized applications, specialty alloys, including Hastelloy®, Inconel® and Monel®, are also available.
5.TERMINAL ENCLOSURE RATINGS
Our flanged heaters can be equipped with terminal boxes designed to meet different NEMA ratings, including NEMA 1 (general purpose), NEMA 4 (outdoor, moisture-resistant), NEMA 4X (outdoor, Stainless Steel, or rust-resistant), and NEMA 4/7/9 (outdoor, explosion-resistant for hazardous areas).
6.ELECTRO-POLISH AND PASSIVATION
PreciseHeater F Series heaters offer the option of electro-polishing and passivation processes. These surface treatments enhance cleanliness and corrosion resistance
7.WATTAGE & WATT DENSITIES
Whether you require higher or lower wattage outputs for precise heating needs, our flanged heaters can be engineered with varying wattages and watt densities to fit your application’s requirements.
8.SANITARY FLANGES
An alternative to bolted flanges, the F Series is also available with sanitary, ferrule, or tri-clamp flanges. Often used in the food and beverage industry, sanitary flanges’ tri-clamp connection makes for easy removal for inspection, cleaning, or replacement.
9.LENGTH
Our F Series heaters can be customized in terms of length to up to 130” long, ensuring our heaters can fit inside your existing infrastructure. Optimize performance while catering to your unique space limitations.
10.ELEMENT NUMBERS
PreciseHeater’s custom-made flanged immersion heaters can be configured with element numbers ranging from 3 to 36 depending on the size of the flange connection.
11.THERMOSTAT, THERMOCOUPLES, AND THERMOWELLS
F Series immersion heaters can be equipped with thermostats for automated temperature regulation and high-limit control. Alternatively, the F Series can be equipped with high-limit/process thermocouple sensors for precise temperature management by centralized control systems.
